A Little Bit About Me
After graduating from Harlow College, I decided to pursue further education at NUA with a Bachelor’s course in animation. The course covered a variation of different topics within animation, as well as different styles, such as 2D, 3D, and stop motion.
Whilst studying here, I was able to build upon skills I already had from college and from my own personal work, such as using the Adobe suite(Primarily Photoshop and After Effects), developing my animation skills by learning how to use software like Maya, Dragon Frame, and TVPaint. These softwares allowed me to explore and get to grips with the different methods of animation. I also was able to develop my understanding of communication through animation. For example, what makes a good character design, sound design, and composition.
While studying this course, I really found an enjoyment in character design and made it the subject of multiple essays I wrote whilst studying.
In my spare time, I have always had a love of tabletop games. This ranges from card games such as Magic The Gathering, to roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons.
For the past 2 years, I have been painting commissions in my spare time of miniatures for other Dungeons & Dragons players, as well as my own miniatures. This has been a really enjoyable experience, allowing me to expand my skills, as well as work with and communicate with clients.
